SPECTRO-LAB Series
The SPECTRO-LAB device series can be used for example, for the laboratory investigation of the fluorescence of samples of plastic granulate to be provided with fluorescent markers during production, but also of marked pellets gained from recycled material. The measurement is carried out in accordance with the 0°/45° measurement method.
Depending on the type of fluorescent marker, various light sources are used for material excitation: UVA, blue, green, red. The spectral evaluation (the respective device is equipped with a corresponding spectrometer) is performed either in the visible wavelength range or in the near infrared range, depending on the type of excitation:
UVA excitation → VIS spectrometer
Blue excitation → VIS spectrometer or NIR spectrometer
Green excitation → NIR spectrometer
Red excitation → NIR spectrometer
